Stanley V. Dohm, 88, died on February 2, 2022 at his home in Eau Claire.
He was born on March 14, 1933 in his family home in Eau Claire. He was the son of the late Vaughn and the late Marie (Kirk) Dohm.
On April 11, 1953, he married Rosalind “Snookie” Gustafson, and she predeceased him in 2017.
Stanley served in the US Army and after his discharge bought the family farm where he lived and worked for 66 years. He was an exceptional husband, father, grandfather and friend, and he was loved by everyone in the community. His store was always open to offer help to other farmers and friends. He enjoyed fishing and spending Friday nights at the races. Stanley was admired by many, quick-witted and a loving, hard-working family man.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, February 6 at Bowerman Funeral Home, Eau Claire. The funeral will take place at noon on Monday, February 7, followed by interment at the Shanghai Cemetery.

Survivors include his son, David (Jane) Dohm; daughters: Diane (Craig) Burbach, Kathy (Neil) Johnson, Lori (Ed) Gast; brothers: George (Linda) Dohm, Benny (Sandy) Dohm, Earl Dohm; sisters: Helen Sanders, Reva Gonzalez, Betty Shembarger; grandchildren: Brittney (Josh) Spivey, Samantha (Matt) Clark, McKenzie (Ryan) Burbach, Kelsey (Kaleb) Yacklich, Hannah (Ryan) Johnson, Adam (Marylin) Bishop, Abby Bishop, Anna Gast, Sevrin Dohm, Jessie Dohm, Josh Hess; and great-grandchildren: Dylan Clark, Harper Clark, Chloe Spivey, Colton Comer, Knox (Pete) Comer, Maeve Yacklich, Jace, Nolan and Max Bishop, DJ and Evan Bennett.
