Joyner Lucas returns to his hometown for a show at Worcester’s Palladium, promising fans the “biggest outdoor party Massachusetts has ever seen.”
“I can’t wait to play ADHD & EVOLUTION LIVE for my hometown for the first time,” the Grammy-nominated rapper wrote on his Facebook page. “This will be a SOLD OUT event and the BIGGEST Massachusetts outdoor party ever. ALL AGES, Food, games and gifts.
The show, called Joyner Fest 2021 and presented by Jam’n 94.5, is Sunday, September 5 and doors open at 5 p.m.

Earlier this year, Lucas was given a key to the town of Worcester as a horde of people gathered outside Town Hall, hoping to secure an autograph or photo with the musician.
“All these people out there, they’re from where I’m from,” Lucas said at the time. “To see them admire someone like me is a blessing. What I see when I look at them, I also see the greatness.
Lucas, whose full name is Gary Maurice Lucas Jr., was born in Worcester in 1988. He attended South High Community School. Worcester is the backdrop for several Lucas clips.
Meanwhile, the soundtrack to the highly anticipated “Space Jam: A New Legacy” will include Lucas’ song “Shoot my Shot”.
