Details of the new housing eServices on the national portal bahrain.bh have been announced by the Ministry of Housing and Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA). Citizens who meet the eligibility criteria can benefit from eServices through the national portal, bahrain.bh. They must select the services of the Ministry of Housing and then log in using their eKey account. Services are also accessible through the ministry’s official website, Housing.gov.bh, which redirects to the national portal.
The Deputy Under Secretary for Housing Policy and Services, Ministry of Housing, Dr Khalid Al Haidan, said the “Apply for Housing Application” service allows citizens to submit their applications for new housing units or housing. allocation of land by the ministry so that individuals can build their own units at their own expense after receiving the land. It also allows them to apply for the ownership of apartments in a building of the Ministry’s housing project, provided that the applicant is a Bahraini between 21 and 50 years old at the time of submission.
Housing applications can be used by several types of individuals, category 1 being husbands, wives and children; Category 2 covering parents living with one or more minor Bahraini sons, and Bahraini spouses of expatriates who have a minor Bahraini nationality son, and category 3 comprising unmarried sons, aged 21 and living with one or both of them Bahraini parents.
The ‘Status Inquiry’ service offers individuals the option of receiving the latest updates on their inquiries, while the ‘Contact and IBAN Bank Details Update’ is available for those who have already submitted inquiries. housing requests.
Mr. Al Haidan said that the “Apply for Mazaya Request” service allows citizens to apply for the “Mazaya” social housing finance program, which guarantees bank financing to beneficiaries in exchange for 25% of their monthly income in the form of installments. The government, through the ministry, takes care of the rest of the financial support covering the rest of the monthly bank payments. Applicants must be Bahraini and be between 21 and 35 years old at the time of submission.
The “Apply for a Loan” service allows citizens to apply for one of the many types of financing offered by the ministry, including the purchase of housing or apartments, construction for landowners and reconstruction. The eligibility criteria for the purchase and construction financing are that applicants must be Bahraini between 21 and 50 years old at the time of submission, and not be over the age of 60 at the time of submission for the financing of reconstruction.
