Alice Sieber Obituary (2021) – Eau Claire, MI
Alice M. Sieber, 95, from Eau Claire passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, September 3, 2021.
A funeral celebrating his life will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Duffield & Pastrick Family Funeral Home in Coloma. Interment will follow in the North Shore Memory Gardens. Family visits will take place Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for commemorative donations in Alice’s memory to be made to the Coloma American Legion or the American Heart Association. Those who wish to leave a message or share a memory with the family can do so online at duffieldpastrick.com.
Alice was born on March 19, 1926 in Eau Claire and was one of 12 children of Lyle and Blanche Merrill.
On November 18, 1944, Alice married Monroe Sieber. The couple celebrated 61 years of marriage before Monroe passed away in 2006. Alice had worked at Modern Plastics for 20 years before her retirement. She was also a member of the Coloma American Legion. In her early years, she loved to dance. Family was important to Alice. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two daughters: Karen (Robert) Pellow of Dowagiac and Kayleen (Greg) Schultz of Hartford; three sons: Dennis (Darlene) Sieber of Dowagiac, Tom (Linda) Sieber of Bangor and Steve (Brenda) Sieber of Hartford; sisters: Aletha Archer, Betty Schoetzow, Mildred Miller, Louise Duffy and Marian Shemick, all of Dowagiac; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Monroe; his parents; and six brothers.
